"Using a combination of Ford’s advanced manufacturing and American hard work and ingenuity, we’ll deliver more high-quality... Ford Expeditions to customers than originally planned."
With demand for SUVs like the Expedition exceeding what the automaker had prepared, Ford will be investing millions to increase the available stock of Expeditions by 25 percent. The money will be spent on new technology and equipment that will allow Ford workers to make parts for the Expedition more quickly. The money will be invested in Ford's Kentucky Truck Plant.
